My Girl

If you go to any of the mall or department store portrait places, they love to get smiling pictures of the kids. Don't get me wrong--I love smiling pictures of my kids but there's something to be said about candids and capturing a moment. I always egg Grace on to give me a great smile but I think this could possibly be my most favorite picture of Grace ever. What I love about it is the strength in her face. Some may see this as a very serious face but I actually see it differently. Grace is a strong kid. She's independent, stubborn, smart, and knows what she wants. She oozes self confidence in this picture and as much as I worry about my babies, I know Grace will always land on her feet.
