Spinning the big wheel

This past Monday was a day of firsts for Grace: her first trip on a "choo" and her first trip to the Please Touch Museum. We can hear the train from where we live so we talk alot about it, where it's going, what it's doing. Grace usually announces it's going "nigh nigh" thanks to the ridiculous book "Shiny Dinah" which we read almost every night. Grace eagerly waited for the train and when we got in, refused to give up her ticket for the duration of the ride.
The museum was a hit despite my skepticism that it might be mobbed on a holiday. The place was a ghost town which was great. It let Grace run from "exhibit" to exhibit and not worry about crowds or sharing (we're really working on that). Among the hits were driving the SEPTA bus--and she did much better than most bus drivers I've known--the trolley, the supermarket, and the farm.
By the time we got back on the choo to come home, Grace had passed out in the stroller and stayed passed out when her dad held her waiting for the train and for 90% of the train ride home. It was a great day and we pried the train ticket from her hands to save it for her scrapbook.
