I can't believe it but 7 months has passed us by and my little baby boy is turning into quite the big guy. Luke has started finger food--teething biscuits and fruit puffs. He's not a natural yet but I'm sure that's just days away. He's sitting up all by himself and loves nothing more than to watch his big sister putter around. He's even making some discernable sounds. Here's an exhange that happened last week in the car. Jen: "Luke can say mama." Tom: (skeptically) "Oh really?" Luke: (softly) "mama." Jen: "Did you hear that?" Tom: "That's a stretch." Luke: "mamamamamamamamama." We both burst into laughter. Luke has entered that stage of babyhood where the days are easier and more predictable making life just a bit less harried. He's a beautifully happy baby who brings smiles to our faces every day. Spring has been tempting us and we're dying to get outside. The other day we enjoyed the warm sun but those cool breezes remind us spring isn't here just yet. We got to spend some awesome time outside and now that Luke is a big guy, he can have a little more fun with us. Here he is enjoying his latest big boy venture: the swing.
Hey mom--what the heck is this thing?

It sure doesn't taste good!

He likes it! He likes it!

But where is my Gracie??

Acting like a banana as usual.
